CAMERA OPERATOR AND LOCAL FIXER BASED IN BRAZIL, I’ve been working on VIDEO PRODUCTION for more than 20 years. I’m ENGLISH, SPANISH AND PORTUGUESE speaking and have been helping video crews and other clients from abroad in Brazil as a LOCAL FIXER, CAMERA OPERATOR, and EDITOR for more than 15 years. Since 1998, I have worked first as EDITOR and later as CAMERA OPERATOR and PRODUCER on documentaries, commercials, political campaigns, corporate videos, in both video and film (16mm). I’m registered at ANCINE, the Brazilian National Cinema Agency, and also a registered Journalist. Among some of my major jobs are the 2014 FIFA World Cup for the Qatar Government delegation in Rio de Janeiro and the Olympic Games Rio2016 for the Olympic News Channel, OBS.
CAMERA and LOCAL FIXER for Maslow Media Group and Rio Energy in Bahia state, Brazil. We traveled thousands of miles by car with crew and gear to film Aeolic Parks in the countryside of Brazil.

CAMERA and LOCAL FIXER for a documentary about the Kaiapo people for FUNAI / director Murilo Azevedo. On our trip to the Kaiapó village, we couldn’t take with us on the small plane much of our food, cause we had to take our cameras and gear, so every day, after a hard day of shooting, we had to go out fishing in order to eat. The camera batteries were charged on the only solar panel of the village.
We’ve shot a series of “Current Affairs” videos for the Denmark Public Television in Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia, about Brazilian Economy, the inauguration of the new President of Brazil and the pacifying of “Favelas” in Rio. I was CAMERA OPERATOR, EDITOR and LOCAL FIXER for Mr. Jakob Illerborg, Global Correspondent for Denmark Public Television, DR.

EDITING WORK. This film was shot on Super 8mm, in New York and California, for Brazilian streetwear Merthiolate. Director Murilo Azevedo.
